Our Growing Story - Barn Flowers

  

After many years of searching we finally found the perfect space for our cut flower nursery, near the coastal town of Deal in Kent. It's been our long held ambition to stock the flower shops with our own sustainably grown, seasonal flowers alongside those from growers in Norfolk, Kent and The Netherlands. 

The season runs between March and October, starting in the spring with tulips, ranunculus and anemones. Early summer we are cropping sweet peas, roses, larkspur and cornflowers and then into the autumn we finish with dahlias, zinnias, grasses and rudbeckia. We deliver locally in the Deal and Canterbury areas and aim to bring freshly cut flowers to London twice a week. Some of the flowers will be earmarked for wedding work but in addition we are offering weekly vases to restaurants and hotels, and a subscription service to those of you who are interested in receiving regular Barn Flower bunches. Numbers will be limited so we might have to supplement our English grown bunches with flowers from our neighbouring growers both here in Kent and in Norfolk.
